Don't Transfer or Hide Property on the Eve of Bankruptcy

Don't transfer property to anyone else on the eve of bankruptcy. Don't put anything in someone else's name to keep it out of bankruptcy. Most of your property is exempt anyway; if you transfer it to another person, you may lose your exemption and the trustee can recover it. You may also lose your discharge.  If you have already given property away, talk to me about it.
